Hoffmann + Voss – Downtimes reduced with ARROW Machine Track / MDE-BDE solution

Since June 2007, ARROW Machine Track has been used in the daily production routine at Hoffmann + Voss. Two of the main reasons Hoffmann + Voss chose Machine Track were its easy-to-use approach and flexible integration to existing operating processes.

Technical installation and commissioning of the system were conducted almost simultaneously within just a few days. Ever since, Machine Track has been used in their daily production processes to provide data on production expectations, technical failures, and downtimes. The data is collected with an automatic machine link and a touch panel to the computer located near the production machinery. Production workers enter the reasons for downtimes and other process data used to calculate productivity. The collected data is then closely examined in daily production meetings between the general management, the workers, and the production control department.

Ever since commissioning the system, Hoffmann + Voss has been able to make notable production improvements with the help of our automatic monitoring system. The planned future system enhancement to add a production planning module definately speaks for their high satisfaction in the system.
