The ARROW organisation keeps growing and the recruitment program progressing

Our recruitment program has been progressing according to plans, and new team members have joined us again at the beginning of the new year. With increasing customerships and developing services, we will require makers who are both professional and willing to develop their skills even further.

”Once again, there was quite a lot of interest in joining ARROW team. This strengthens our understanding of us moving in the right direction when it comes to developing our operations”, says CEO Pekka Pylkkänen of ARROW.

Engineer Marko Sormunen (right) started working as the Customer Manager for Productivity Solutions in early January. Marko has plenty of varied and international experience in production development and production supervision, accumulated at Moventas Gears Oy. In addition to operative production, Marko has worked as a development engineer, development manager, and customer interface product manager.

”In my new position I am looking forward to helping our customers in the streamlining of operative production with the help of ARROW system solutions. I am interested in the various challenges encountered by production in different industries, and I especially enjoy working at the customer interface. My free time is currently spent with finalising my Master’s Degree in technology and enjoying various sports”, says Marko.

 

MS (Technology) Jussi Hintikka (left) is transferred in from Valmet Technologies Oy, taking on the job of Customer Manager for Maintenance Solutions. Jussi has several years of experience in the Service business of paper and paperboard machines, having taken care of for example offer statements for roll and roll maintenance as well as associated project management, including project pricing. Jussi is familiar with ARROW system solutions due to having worked at the Versowood Hankasalmi sawmill in 2012-2014.

”My new job at ARROW offers a ringside seat to Finnish industry. I am looking forward to working in different industries and with different customers, developing maintenance functions. I believe that my earlier experience with ARROW solutions will be beneficial for these new challenges. In my free time I enjoy different sports”, says Jussi.

”In the ARROW team Jussi and Marko will be responsible for the commissioning, training, and development tasks of ARROW systems at the customer interface. The strengthening of our supply chain can be seen especially by our customers as improved services and the consolidation of our expert role. Furthermore, we will be an even more prominent leader in the delivery of productivity, reliability, and daily management solutions and partnerships”, says supply director Sami Kajan of ARROW.
